After the show we went back to Hotel Star, the place we are calling home. After a quick shower we set out for some more really good Italian food we found this little place called Cucina Pizza E Cocktails. The food was great. We had a really good salad and split a pizza and a calzone. YUMMY! Also ordered was a bottle of red, an antipasto plate, which is a plate of really-really-really good cold cuts and cheeses. Anyhow during dinner we talked to the restaurant workers and got a really good lead on a American election party so we had to go check it out.

The party was a bust, the American consul hosted the party but apparently us Americans weren’t allowed in because we didn’t have proper clearance so we cried about it and I shot a couple photos from outside and then left. Funny thing later that night we found out our room had video cameras or something that looked like a video camera in it so I stickered it up and felt better about resting my head that night.

I booked myself a flight to this years EICMA show otherwise referred to the Milan show. This show is supposed to be the biggest show of the year so I wanted to see first hand. Keep an eye out on our site and this blog for updates while at the show this week.

Oh and I can’t forget about the photo I promised everyone from my Italian Volcanic adventure article. hahaha sorry I need to tan just a bit and heck loose more then a couple pounds. My cousin however on the far right of the photo is in average shape for a sicilian. And Bobby my brother in law on the left of the photo is showing off that he can fit in no matter what the trends are.

Wes Miller’s WTB was held last weekend, although we were not able to run our beast in the specs class we did manage to dominate the Best In Class category. I won’t mention the illegal tactic we had to pull to acquire a trophy of our own. But I can tell you how great the trophy looks standing proud in my office.

The quad performed brilliantly all weekend we had to peal our test rider off the unit at the end of the photo shoot so we could load it back into our trailer. I can’t wait until our next outing I will update you with more photos then.

The High Lifter ICM Power Pak Performance Module took no longer then a minute to install and gave me all the Rev I could ever want. 

Here is what the module looks like there is really nothing to it. Unplug two connections and put this module in between and you’re done. 

The spark plugs where hurting. They looked really black also which is a good indication that this bike has been running rich in the past. However after all the mods she needed to be rejet.

I had to remove a ton of things to get the two monster carbs out of the way and flipped over. While changing out the main jets I checked the pilots as well they seamed to be a bit dirty so I went ahead and cleaned them.

Alan Knowls, aka “Crazy Al” was kind enough to allow me to setup shop for the day at his facilities and get everything dialed in. The Quad attracted some attention while she roared violently on Al’s dyno. After making a few pass and getting everything running good Al took a look at the machine and pulled a wild card and found five extra horse power. The single intake snorkel kit by Bayou is good and actually produces more horse power over stock but if you really want to go fast add a second intake snorkel and you’ll be able to feed your beast all the air she could ever ask for. 

The above photos shows a part of the Pro Armor Skid Plate. I had to slightly modify the front so it would clear my winch other then that the stuff lined up to the stock holes really nice. Also in the picture you can barely see the name but I added Gorilla Axles to my mudder. I figured with what I am planning on doing to this bike, I might as well build it right. 

I was unhappy with the stock bars I really didn’t like the way they felt not to mention the way they looked. so I called up Rox Speed FX and ordered a set of pivot risers and a plate to hold the stock dash in place. 

The above photo shows the finished product. I went with a set of the Fastco Flexx bars which are really a cool set of bars.
