I walked into the office today and it was like Christmas High Lifter sent me a set of really cool 29.5″ tires mounted on Crush Lock Wheels. “I call them Pizza Cutter Wheels.” Because they lay a super narrow path and slice the mud like a pizza cutter would cut pizza. To mount the wheels I had to do away with the tapered nuts that went with my ITP wheels and used a set of lock nuts with washers to insure they wouldn’t break loose under the excess stress and torque these wheels are expecting to see.
After everything was mounted up I went to the local bike shop and picked up some oil and an oil filter and changed the oil she needed it bad. I grabbed the air filter that I set aside to dry the other day and had our intern apply some foam filter oil to it so I could reinstall that as well. While I was on a roll I decided to go ahead and grease all the joints to make sure everything was in proper working order. I want to make sure everything is in tip top shape for next weekends race.
I should be installing the Tamarack Boom-it box and the Warn Winch on Monday which will leave me one step closer to finishing the build.

You should let the fat guy race it… That thing will float away with you on it!
