Mentioning skateboarding in my last blog put me in the mood for a quick session on our shops ramp. The ramp was built years ago by our bike magazine, RIDE BMX. The magazine rocks!!! The photography is epic and every issue is stellar. If anyones work inspires me to progress, it would have to be their work.

Anyhow, enjoy the photos - I took them myself. Hahahaha, yup that’s right if you look closely at my right hand I am holding a pocket wizard, which is a remote trigger system for my camera equipment. This first shot I came close to taking out my camera. After riding the ramp and previewing the photos to get the look I wanted I needed to get as close to the camera as I could. It paid off - I love the shot and I didn’t hurt my D3 … Fisheye lenses are cool for this kind of stuff.
