This is my first post to this Blog, I have not been able to give much thought towards what I want to blog about so I figured to kick off my blog about what it’s like to be a photographer for Quad. I will pile up all the camera equipment I had around my desk and give you a little sneak peek of what I use to put together some of the photos in the magazine.

I really need to invest in a better camera phone. This darn thing SUCKS!

Here is a quick rundown of everything in that photo. I have four various Nikon bodies with assorted lenses and speedlights. One Mamiya medium format camera outfit, one Sony 3ccd dvcam video camera, three Qflashes and an elinchrom ranger pack and head. Also pictured is a number of other smaller pieces of equipment.

That’s it in a nutshell I’ll go into more detail on a later date.
